This is our listing for rough/raw Dalmatian Jasper – also known as the Dalmatian Stone.

NOTE: In the photos, you’ll notice that our Dalmatian Jasper contains many Dalmatian spots. Fun fact number one explains more about this feature if you aren’t already aware. [See below] Additionally, we are painfully aware that the dog stuffie isn't a Dalmatian - we just ordered one from Etsy. ;)

We currently are offering two (2) sizes:

Medium: 1.25” – 1.75”
Large: 1.75” – 2.25”

Next up: Three fun facts about Dalmatian Jasper:

1. The dark spots, that give Dalmatian Jasper its famous spotted appearance, are actually black tourmaline.
2. Dalmatian Jasper is actually not a jasper at all. What it actually is gets scientific and technical real quick, and wouldn’t be much use to a non-geologist (or a geek like Lori ;P). Amongst other differences, Dalmatian Stone is softer than jasper.
3. Dodie Smith, the author of the book 101 Dalmatians, named one of Cruella’s henchmen ‘Jasper’ in reference to Dalmatian Jasper.

IF YOU ARE NEW TO THE WORLD OF CRYSTALS - PLEASE READ:

We enthusiastically encourage everyone to do their own research including what Sunny calls, ‘an intuitive interview’ with all your crystals. Just as every person has things that make them unique, so too does every crystal. All humans and all Jaspers have things in common, but they are all individuals as well. Sit with them, be with them – and create an individualized relationship with your crystals. For every different crystal or stone that you order, you’ll find a brief description and some of our observations about the crystals strengths and uses. Rarely more than a paragraph, we keep it brief because we feel like it would be a disservice to spare you the journey. You already have everything you need to know everything there is about your crystal inside of you. Trust yourself! Nevertheless, if you have specific questions, never hesitate to message us.

And now, a five-ish things we think you may wish to know:

1. ‘Human’ consciousness isn’t human at all. It is merely our ego attempting to co-opt that which belongs to All.
2. You may have noted that we always start this section with a quote. The reason that we don’t credit anyone is because they are all our personal sayings. Though we tend to use a different quote for every stone, we do share the same quote within families – i.e. all Jaspers, all Quartz, all Calcites, etc.
3. Regarding our photos: We are brand new to photography. All our photos are taken with an Android phone that has a non-working flash. We take all of our photos in a lightbox and then convert them to high definition to compensate for this. Our crystals are all photographed dry – never wet. Lastly, all our photographic efforts are to designed to represent our products as honestly as we can.
4. All sizes/weights are estimates that are made in good faith. Lengths are calculated by measuring the longest side.
5. Before an order is shipped it sits on our alter during our thirty-minute morning meditation during which we dedicate Metta to the order heading to you. If for any reason, or even no reason, you would prefer we don’t do this with your order, please let us know so we can respect your wishes.
6. In every way that matters, we are all brothers and sisters awaiting the family reunion. Until then, if no one has told you they love you today, know that we do.

Why did we give the information about Jasper if Dalmatian Jasper really isn’t a Jasper at all? If you did notice that – are you sure you’re not autistic too? 😉 It is our understanding of life, the universe and everything, that we create what we believe. Most people believe that Dalmatian Jasper is a Jasper – even though it’s not. That belief has the power of creation in it and has changed Dalmatian Stone’s energy so that it resonates with Jasper now.
