This is our listing for rough/raw Extra Large Rainbow Moonstone! It is also a ‘Choose Your Own’ listing.

We are offering five (5) Extra Large Rainbow Moonstone pieces today and have set the price at the ridiculous price of less than a penny per carat. We understand; you’re wondering what the gimmick is, huh? No gimmick; we promise – we just like you. They are:

A. 3x2x2” 260.1 grams (9.2 ounces)
B. 4x2.75x1.5” 278.9 grams (9.8 ounces)
C. 3.5x3x1” 201.4 grams (7.1 ounces)
D. 4x2.5x1.75” 244.6 grams (8.6 ounces)
E. 3.75x2.75x1” 148.6 grams (5.2 ounces)

We would like to take this opportunity to point out that the colored paper indicating whether the specimen in the picture is ‘A’, ‘B’, etc. is 4cm x 3cm to help with perspective and judging the size of the Rainbow Moonstone sample you are looking at.

And now, three fun facts about Rainbow Moonstone!

1. The Romans were big fans of Moonstone and believed that it came from the rays of the moon made solid.
2. The iridescence we find in Moonstone is known as schiller, but in moonstone it is called adularescence.
3. Rainbow Moonstone is different from other Moonstones in that its adularescence is caused by the same phenomena as in Labradorite whereas in all other varieties of Moonstone, the adularescence is caused by albite inclusions.

IF YOU ARE NEW TO THE WORLD OF CRYSTALS - PLEASE READ:

We enthusiastically encourage everyone to do their own research including what Sunny calls, ‘an intuitive interview’ with all your crystals. Just as every person has things that make them unique, so too does every crystal. All humans and all Rainbow Moonstone crystals have things in common, but they are all individuals as well. Sit with them, be with them – and create an individualized relationship with your crystals. For every different crystal or stone that you order, you’ll find a brief description and some of our observations about the crystals strengths and uses. Rarely more than a paragraph, we keep it brief because we feel like it would be a disservice to spare you the journey. You already have everything you need to know everything there is about your crystal inside of you. Trust yourself! Nevertheless, if you have specific questions, never hesitate to message us.

And now, a few things we think you may wish to know:

1. There is a point at which all spiritual principles merge and become one. Humility becomes surrender, gratitude becomes love and generosity becomes forgiveness. In this way, we too are spiritual principles.
2. You may have noted that we always start this section with a quote. The reason that we don’t credit anyone is because they are all our personal sayings. Though we tend to use a different quote for every stone, we do share the same quote within families – i.e., all Jaspers, all Quartz, all Calcites, etc.
3. Regarding our photos: We are brand new to photography. All our photos are taken with an Android phone that has a non-working flash. We take all of our photos in a lightbox and then convert them to high definition to compensate for this. Our crystals are all photographed dry – never wet. Lastly, all our photographic efforts are to designed to represent our products as honestly as we can.
4. All sizes/weights are estimates that are made in good faith. Lengths are calculated by measuring the longest side.
5. Before an order is shipped it sits on our alter during our thirty-minute morning meditation during which we dedicate Metta to the order heading to you. If for any reason, or even no reason, you would prefer we don’t do this with your order, please let us know so we can respect your wishes.
6. In every way that matters, we are all brothers and sisters awaiting the family reunion. Until then, if no one has told you they love you today, know that we do.
