This is our listing for rough/raw Labradorite!

We got a great deal from our supplier on this Labradorite and wanted to pass it on to you! Please don’t think our low prices are an indication of low quality. Our pictures are never stock photos – they are always taken from our actual inventory.
Regardless of size, all our Labradorite is AT LEAST one inch on its longest side. We broke it down by weight because we can’t, in good conscience, charge the same price for a 1” piece that is 10 grams and a 1” piece that is 40 grams. We’ve added a ‘quantity per pound’ estimate that might help you get a better feel for their size.

We are offering five (5) sizes of Labradorite at this time.

Extra Small: < 10 g. ~52 – 60 = 1 pound
Small: 10.1 – 25 g. ~24 – 27 = 1 pound
Medium: 25.1 – 40 g. ~13 – 15 = 1 pound
Large: 40.1 – 55 g. ~9 – 10 = 1 pound
Extra Large: 55.1 – 70 g. ~6 – 8 = 1 pound

Has anyone ever met anyone who didn’t like Labradorite? The four of us spent a few moments arguing (playfully) about who was going to write these fun facts because we all love it so much!

1. History tells us that Labradorite was discovered in Labrador, Canada in 1770. This however, isn’t true as written. The truth is, 1770 was the year that Europeans discovered Labradorite – the Inuit people had known of it for centuries before this.
2. Inuit Eskimo legend teaches that the Northern Lights, or Aurora Borealis, were trapped in Labradorite until a mighty Inuit warrior broke the rocks with his spear releasing it. For this reason, Labradorite is also called the Aurora Borealis gemstone.
3. The light play we witness with Labradorite is called labradorescence or ‘The Schiller Effect’. Schiller is an old German word meaning ‘sparkle or twinkle’.

IF YOU ARE NEW TO THE WORLD OF CRYSTALS - PLEASE READ:

We enthusiastically encourage everyone to do their own research including what Sunny calls, ‘an intuitive interview’ with all your crystals. Just as every person has things that make them unique, so too does every crystal. All humans and all Labradorite crystals have things in common, but they are all individuals as well. Sit with them, be with them – and create an individualized relationship with your crystals. For every different crystal or stone that you order, you’ll find a brief description and some of our observations about the crystals strengths and uses. Rarely more than a paragraph, we keep it brief because we feel like it would be a disservice to spare you the journey. You already have everything you need to know everything there is about your crystal inside of you. Trust yourself! Nevertheless, if you have specific questions, never hesitate to message us.

And now, a few things we think you may wish to know:

1. Spiritual growth does not come from ‘adding to’ – you were born a perfect creation. Spiritual growth consists of removing all the things we added to that perfect creation which obscures our true nature.
2. Regarding our photos: We are brand new to photography. All our photos are taken with an Android phone that has a non-working flash. We take all of our photos in a lightbox and then convert them to high definition to compensate for this. Our crystals are all photographed dry – never wet. Lastly, all our photographic efforts are to designed to represent our products as honestly as we can.
3. All sizes/weights are estimates that are made in good faith. Lengths are calculated by measuring the longest side.
4. Before an order is shipped it sits on our alter during our thirty-minute morning meditation during which we dedicate Metta to the order heading to you. If for any reason, or even no reason, you would prefer we don’t do this with your order, please let us know so we can respect your wishes.
5. In every way that matters, we are all brothers and sisters awaiting the family reunion. Until then, if no one has told you they love you today, know that we do.
