Welcome to The Bree Zav Stone Lab! We are super glad you are here and hope you see something you like but whether you do or not, we hope something here brings a smile.
This is our listing for one 2.5” Selenite Charging Tower!
And now, stand by for three fun facts about Selenite!
1. Selenite crystals have been found in the Naica Mine of Chihuahua, Mexico, that measure 36 feet in length! That’s one-hundred eight 4” Selenite sticks back-to-back!
2. Selenite is sometimes called the Selene Stone. This is a reference to the Greek moon goddess, Selene. Selenite’s luster was thought to imitate the glow of the moon.
3. Selenite grow at an incredibly slow rate, equivalent to the thickness of one hair every 100 years which means that a 4” stick took 300,000 years to form!
IF YOU ARE NEW TO THE WORLD OF CRYSTALS - PLEASE READ:
We enthusiastically encourage everyone to do their own research including what Sunny calls, ‘an intuitive interview’ with all your crystals. Just as every person has things that make them unique, so too does every crystal. All humans and all Selenite crystals have things in common, but they are all individuals as well. Sit with them, be with them – and create an individualized relationship with your crystals. We’re going to offer really brief descriptions or thoughts about the crystal in each listing but please risk trusting us on this: You already have everything you need to know everything there is about your crystal inside of you. Trust yourself! (please)
One paragraph on Selenite – even just an overview is going to be tough. Selenite has been referred to as the ‘Liquid Light of Spirit” which might be all one needs to say about that! Selenite is included in our three ‘must haves’ for everyone who works with crystals. It isn’t that it’s that important – it’s more important that even that! Selenite not only never needs to be cleaned; it can clean all your other crystals. By the way, that doesn’t mean you can’t clean your Selenite; Lori and Sunny insist that Selenite loves the attention. (Just don’t clean it with water – it will dissolve!) Although you won’t hear it anywhere else, we call Selenite the Walkie Talkie Stone. Many who have worked with Selenite for a while will have understood immediately why we call it that though your mileage may vary. Whether you learn with your head and books or you learn through your heart and intuition, please consider giving your way a try with Selenite. We believe you’ll be glad you did.
And now, a few things we think you may wish to know:
1. Within each of us lives the predator and the prey. We cannot destroy the predator and live; rather we must train the predator to live to serve the prey.
2. Regarding our photos: We are brand new to photography. All our photos are taken with an Android phone that has a non-working flash. We take all of our photos in a lightbox and then convert them to high definition to compensate for this. Our crystals are all photographed dry – never wet. Lastly, all our photographic efforts are to designed to represent our products as honestly as we can.
3. All sizes/weights are estimates that are made in good faith. Lengths are calculated by measuring the longest side.
4. Before an order is shipped it sits on our alter during our thirty-minute morning meditation during which we dedicate Metta to the order heading to you. If for any reason, or even no reason, you would prefer we don’t do this with your order, please let us know so we can respect your wishes.
5. In every way that matters, we are all brothers and sisters awaiting the family reunion. Until then, if no one has told you they love you today, know that we do.
If you have ANY questions, requests, suggestions, etc., please do not hesitate to message us. You know what though? If you don’t have any questions, requests, suggestions, etc., feel free to reach out anyway cause that #5 bit above? Yeah, we meant that. 😉
